Pinehurst Animal Hospital has been serving the pets of our community since 1937. Dr Tony Ioppolo, a well known local veterinarian, bought Pinehurst Animal Hospital in July 2018 after the local practice he worked in was sold to Banfield, a large veterinary corporation.  Dr Tony Ioppolo knew that his beloved clients and all the pets of the Southern Pines and Pinehurst area deserved the high quality, personalized, local, hands on care that cannot be given by a corporation. Pinehurst Animal Hospital is locally owned and operated, we are not a corporation, we work hard for you and your pets not for shareholders.

Pinehurst Animal Hospital and Dental Clinic is a well established, full service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive veterinary medicine, surgery and dental care. Our practice is conveniently located on Midland road on the border between Southern Pines and Pinehurst NC and easily accessible from Aberdeen, Whispering Pines and Vass. We are also the closest veterinary practice to the growing community of Whispering Pines NC.
